Recycling at NOHC
At the New Orleans Healing Center, we believe wellness extends to our shared environment. We are proud to partner with local innovators to turn your waste into resources for coastal restoration and community food security.
Our recycling station is located inside the Central Lobby on the first floor, right near the stage.
Drop-off Hours: Monday – Sunday | 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Glass Recycling
Care of: Glass Half Full & Glassroots
- What to bring: Clean glass bottles and jars (all colors).
- The Impact: Glass is transformed into sand for coastal restoration and disaster relief sandbags.
- No lightbulbs, mirrors, or ceramics.
Can Recycling
Through: NOLA Cans 4 Food
- What to bring: Aluminum beverage cans (soda, sparkling water, beer).
- The Impact: Cans are recycled to purchase fresh groceries for local food pantries and community fridges.
- No tin food cans or scrap metal.

To ensure we can keep this program running, please check the Status Banner at the top of our website before heading over.
⚠️ PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE ITEMS ON THE LOBBY FLOOR
Our lobby must remain clear for building safety and fire codes. Additionally, items left outside of the bins attract bugs and rodents.
If our bins are full, please do not leave your recycling in the lobby. Anything left on the floor or on top of bins will be treated as trash and discarded immediately by our staff to maintain a clean, pest-free environment.
